M3 Internacional - Moz LDA

In an attempt to align M3 Holdings’ vision and thus create a significant presence in Southern Africa, M3 Internacional – Moz LDA (Número da entidade legal: 101240320) was conceived as a Mozambican registered company incorporated under the Mozambique Companies Act Decreto Lei 2 of 2005 de 27 Dezembro. This company primarily serve as an extension to the South African based M3 Holdings total range of product and service offerings to the People’s Republic of Mozambique.

Extensive engagements were held with important stakeholders such as the Electricidade de Moçambique, E.P (EDM) in responding to EDM’s Revenue Protection and Loss Reduction Directorate strategic plan.

A significant milestone was recently achieved through the signing of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) which sets the tone for an exclusive relationship primarily for the implementation of our proposed innovative “PROJETO DE ILUMINACAO” that is indeed in direct response to EDM’s “Iluminando a Transformação de Moçambique”.

We are at the threshold of implementing the proposed integrated smart infrastructure improvement programme that involves: –

  • Comprehensive baseline assessment of Energy Sources and Significant Energy Users (SEU) at predetermined designated areas within the Cities of Matola and Maputo with a specific emphasis on: –
    • An analysis of energy consumption of the public lighting infrastructure;
    • Current Metering Infrastructure whether fit for ISO 50001; and
    • Independent Measurement & Verification (M&V)
  • Smart Revenue Enhancement / – Protection
    • The deployment of Smart Metering Infrastructure with Vending and Revenue Management Software
  • Smart Public Lighting
    • The replacement of existing conventional Public Lighting Technologies (Street – and High Masts (Flood) Lights) with Smart Energy Efficient LED Lights and/or Off-Grid Solar Street Lighting;
  • “Projeto de Conectividade” – eManagement Software System;
  • All-Inclusive Preventative Maintenance (Sustainability) and Operations of the improved smart infrastructure
  • Above programme execution through an investment infrastructure financing model at ZERO Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) to EDM
