eManagement Software System

A flagship innovation to our LED lighting is the implementation of an eLite management software system that ensures remote control for a better public lighting service by improving reliability and safety, plus the possibility to enable a wide range of value-added services such as access to modern affordable internet / WiFi connectivity. Light points are digitally managed and data is displayed via a simple, intuitive user interface.

Implementing an eLite management software system to manage, control, solve problems and maintain the LED street lights by: –

  • Providing alerts;
  • Allows giving commands to the units such as: –
    • Remote disconnection/reconnection;
    • Dimming;
    • Checking status of the streetlights;
    • Measuring energy consumption;
    • Energy balance; and
    • Receiving information in case of power shutdowns.

The eLite management software consists of data collection and control and data management software that includes database, crawler and GUI (Graphical User Interface)

  • The GUI is the interface with the customer,
    • It will allow the utility to receive data, send commands and generate real-time reports.
  • The crawler connects between the database and the GUI,
    • The data received by the units is stored in the database and retrieved by the crawler.

The eLite management software system is run on the cloud but can also be installed on the local server and therefore can be integrated with other systems installed at the utility.

The Digital Management

The control room digital interface enables to view, manage and process data and functionalities easily, flexibly and intuitively. Thanks to M3’s developed platform, the service is flanked by an intuitive control room enabling real-time management of the system, and designed to help utilities become more familiar with, control and manage lighting systems more efficiently.

On top of this, however, the platform has also been designed to support, facilitate and optimise working processes and modalities within the public administration system itself (with the possibility of setting different usage profiles, installation on several different devices, reporting and the possibility to share data and dashboards).

The digital customer care is an important tool that will completely transform the way public lighting faults are reported and resolved. It simplifies the whole process, making it both fast and transparent.

Embedded communication system for streetlights

M3 has leveraged its development and innovation capabilities to design a remote communication tool specially tailored to our solar lighting technology.

Our smartlights uses both power-line communication and LoRaTM low-data-rate Long Range wireless technology for remote monitoring of entire sets of streetlights
